Why did you first start filming?
I started off by doing animations and I really enjoyed it so I decided to start making ‘proper films’.
Who inspired you?
My art teacher Mrs Tonkin.
What do you find interesting about filming?
The idea that you get to put your own ideas into filming to show to other people.
Have you ever had any job offers?-if so who from?
Yes. From Fortrose Academy and some nurseries to make adverts and business adverts.
How do you advertise what you do?
I post things on websites, post things on YouTube and put leaflets out to spread the word.
Where do you do your filming?
I film wherever it looks really good.
How often do you film?I try to film every weekend.
Can you briefly explain what it is you do?I get a camera, hit record, and film a person… not in a creepy way!
What’s your favorite part about filming?
Really just getting to know people.
Are you interested in a career in the film industry?
I would love to be a film director when I am older.
Hoefully this gave you some information about what Ben does and maybe this will inspire you to start a career in filming or just to take up a fun hobby. Check out Ben’s channel, BAM Studios on YouTube for more about Ben- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoJtLWJT-iz_mniVyP2hOBQ
